AMTRAK EMPIRE SERVICE RAILS TO RECOVERY
Amtrak can provide a discount for customers who are traveling on Amtrak Empire Service Trains within New York State only, for the purpose of receiving treatments for a life threatening illness. This discount can only be obtained through affiliation with one of the listed participating agencies of Voices of Hope.

The discount is for one (1) free companion Rail Fare with the purchase of one (1) regular (full) Adult fare. *Senior Citizen discounted fares are not combinable with this discount. Use only Adult fare when booking the Rails to Recovery fare on Amtrak.com

Advance reservations are required a minimum of three (3) days prior to travel. 
The steps to follow in order to make a reservation are as follows: 
  • Choose appropriate agency that you are affiliated with (from the list below). 
  • Complete the required information. 
  • Click “SUBMIT”. 
Once the “SUBMIT” button is selected, the customer will automatically be directed to a page with a link to Amtrak.com where a full overview and Terms and Conditions of the discount are available.  Click on the button that says "Click Here to Book Your Tickets".
  • Select the “BOOK NOW” tab and complete the reservation process. The discount will be calculated automatically.

• Valid for travel within the State of New York only.
• Valid for travel on the Adirondack, Empire Service, Ethan Allen Express, and Maple Leaf trains only.  
• Valid for one (1) free companion rail fare with the purchase of one (1) regular full adult rail fare.
